Dream Con 2023 - The Recap
Dream Con 2023 - The Recap
As we approach Dream Con 2024, we wanted to reflect on how last year went. Last year had major changes. Dream Con 2022 saw around 6,000 attendees. This time last year, Dream Con moved to Austin, TX to host around 20,000 attendees! There was so much to cover and we could not even capture it all. But that doesn’t mean we didn’t enjoy ourselves. It was great to see some of the changes that came with the move and you can really see the growth from where the Con began. Even last year was a completely different ordeal. Aside from the interviews we could get, one of our favorite parts was having the ability to meet multiple guests through the Press Conferences that were set up with RDC World, Somebros, King Vader, and Carl Jones (producer of the Boondocks and co-founder of Martian Blueberry). It was also nice to run back into some of the guests we met last year. Another highlight was being able to make it to the official Afterparty on both nights. There was so much more this time! We could go in depth, but this time we would rather just show you what it was like (you may also read a first person view from one of the team photographers, Kenny Bundy here) There will never be anything like seeing Blerds from all over come to one location to meet the ones who inspired them, gain knowledge and celebrate each other in the culture. In our opinion, Dream Con still remains one of the most unique Cons that exists. Why are you still reading? Check it out the content below.
